Despite a valiant voting effort, “Angel in the Rubble” did not win in the biography category at the 8th annual African American Literary Awards on Sept. 27. Congratulations to rapper and actor Lonnie Rashid Lynn (a.k.a. Common) on winning. But THANK YOU SO MUCH to all of you who took the time to vote for us! To be included among the other four nominees was victory enough.
